Recommended: A solid preparation in high-school biology, chemistry and mathematics or BIOL 100.

Pre-requisite MATH 143 or 147
Recommended: A solid preparation in high-school chemistry. If you do not have this solid background, you should enroll in CHEM 99, 100 or 101. You should enroll in CHEM 111 in the fall semester and continue with CHEM 112 in the spring semester.
If you are not eligible based on your ACT/SAT scores, your placement exam scores or you have not completed the appropriate pre-requisite courses, then enroll in MATH 15, MATH 25, MATH 108, MATH 143 OR MATH 147 as a pre-requisite.

- UNIV 101U First Year Seminar (2 credits)
You are not required to take all of the courses listed above your first year; however, most students will choose to take between 24 and 32 credits. We highly recommend that you take Math, Geology, and English.
