Department of Nursing
Department Statement
The department of nursing is one of four departments in the College of Health Sciences. The department offers bachelor of science and associate of science programs in nursing as well as a practical nursing program. The Idaho State Board of Nursing approves all programs.

- BIOL 227 Human Anatomy and Physiology (4 credits) fall and

- BIOL 192 General Biology II (4 credits)
Recommended: A solid preparation in high-school biology, chemistry and mathematics or BIOL 100.

You are not required to take all of the courses listed above your first year; however, most students will choose to take between 24 and 32 credits. We highly recommend that you take Math, Biology, and English.
